Anthea KrestonViolinist Anthea Kreston has won major awards as a soloist and as a chamber musician, including top prize at the Munich ARD International Competition and Concert Artists Guild. She gave her solo debut at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D. C., and was presented in Carnegie Hall by Isaac Stern, who mentored her for the last several years of his life. She performed world-wide with Yo-Yo Ma and his Silk Road Project. Anthea is acting concertmaster of Portland Opera and the Eugene Symphony and is raising her two young daughters in Corvallis with Jason, who is a great guy.
